I have the honor to acknowledge your very complimentary & flattering letter and beg you will do me the favour to return my sincere thanks to the Liverpool Literary Scientific & Commercial Institution for this mark of its approbation. I hope that next year or rather this year I may be so circumstanced as to be at Liverpool2 which town I have never seen but for a quarter of an hour3[.]
