R Institution 4, May 1837
My dear Sir
I have just received your letter of the 27th of April1 and rejoice at your continued progress. I have made one or two of the experiments but they want more care & attention than I can give them at present for I am exceedingly occupied. I shall send it to the Phil Mag for the Editor to print if he pleases2[.]
