Royal Institution | 15 May 1838

My dear Sir

I think when Aldini1 was in town2 you were much interested in that part of the investigations of the nature of life which is connected with the action of Electricity & its possible influence on the nerves[.] Can you tell me whether either Galvani or Aldini had any clear or useful notions on the matter? & if so where I shall find them?

Ever My dear Sir | Very Truly Yours | M. Faraday

Dr Bostock | &c &c &c
