While you are illuminating the world in all ways, of Enlightment, that of the Bude light and the other light, whatever it be, have this morning, even reached my shady seclusion. It reminds me of a flattering request you made to me - and you see it is performed!2
For my own failing sight I fear, and my crooked lens[e]s all your philosophy can afford no aid. We have not yet invented an artificial eye for the Blind.
