Her Majestys Mint | Tuesday 3 Sep 39.

My dear Faraday,

Can you give me sitting this week at the Mint, if so do me the favor to say the time that will be most convenient to you.

I have been in Birm1 & during my absence M. Dumas called. I may still have the honor of seeing him - & if I can be of any service I will, especially on your acct tho' he must be very deserving[.]

I hurried back from the country from accts I heard of my little boy2 - he is now better - Pray give our kind regards to Mrs. Faraday[.]
