Faraday to Edward Magrath   23 December 1839

R Institution | Monday 23 Decr 1839

Dear Magrath

I came to town on Saturday1 Evg & I leave again this morning at 10 for Brighton. Dr Latham thinks very well of me & I think very well of myself2 - With care I think I shall be able to manage the Season very well. I still have headache & other feelings flying about but I believe rest will be the best cure for this. My general health is very good & I hope yours is too. Whenever I write now I feel as if it was so much about self that I am quite ashamed of it[.]

Ever Dear Magrath | Truly Yours | M. Faraday

That is 21 December 1839.
