Faraday to Charles Babbage   12 February 1840

R Institution | 12 Feby 1840

Dear Babbage

Many thanks for your kindness but I mean to steal away and be at Brighton for a week.

My humble respects to Miss Coutts[.] You may tell Sir Francis Chantrey also if you like that I think I have secured a fine piece of meteoric iron for him but he must wait until I can get it sawn off for him1.

Ever Your faithful | M. Faraday
