The few hours that I was in town were so entirely pre engaged that I could not answer your letter2 from the Institution. I write to say I shall be very happy if there is any thing in our Library that can be of service to you in your investigations & regret much that I cannot have the pleasure of accompanying you into the Library. I send with this a note to the Librarian3 which I hope will gain you every attention[.]
