Royal Institution | 14 Feby 1843

Dear Sir

I understand my only way of obtaining answers to a few queries respecting the effect of the lamp chimney at the Maplin lighthouse is to ask your assistance when you next send there. Post they say there is none[.] Will you therefore do me this favour? The queries are on the other side.

Your Obliged & faithful Servant | M. Faraday
