Faraday to George Biddell Airy   21 September 1843

Royal Institution | 21 Septr. 1843

My dear Sir

I am delighted to have your testimony about the electrical apparatus1 though I could not doubt that all would be done that was possible considering who had it in charge. And as to your enquiry I dare say what you need & require can be obtained; my embarrassment is a feeling that nobody can be more competent or so competent as Wheatstone & Ronalds to work out practically the desired result; and that it is unnecessary & undesirable to think of it whilst in their hands. However I shall see Wheatstone in a day or two & will speak to him about it[.]

Ever Most Truly Yours | M. Faraday
