My dear Sir

Mr. Vincent the bearer is anxious to apply to you in the way of business. If he does so I am very desirous of saying that I have known him for many years and can answer for his steadiness, regularity & attention to matters confided to him. I do not think he would undertake a matter he could not do justice to and believe he would be found valuable to any one who might require his services[.]

I am My dear Sir | Your Obliged Servant | M. Faraday

John Murray Esq | &c &c &c
