I shall go to work on Monday at 6 oclk in the morning & if it is possible without real risk of danger as regards my own apparatus I will be with you at your most important repetition2[.]

Possibly a repetition of the experiment that Matteucci demonstrated on 30 September 1844 at the York meeting of the British Association where he made a voltaic pile out of frogs legs. Lit.Gaz., 5 October 1844, p.633.
