TRANSLATION

We are all well. My wife is surprised by your activity, and sends you her greetings. Mr Bowman² wrote to me that you received a kick from a horse and that you have used this to prove the existence of the muscular current in your own living system. I hope however that the accident was not serious and you are not irritating the injured parts. Remember you do not have to stretch yourself as you do with doves.
