Very dear Brother

Many many thanks for your kind & most affectionate letter - it seems to me as if you had come back again to us in it, and reminds me of many things which I hope I shall never forget and in which your true & brotherly affection shines forth in every remembrance[.] May our hopes & prayers for our meeting once & for ever be accepted of him who can do such things for us through his Son - and poor John Walker1 rich I trust in his poverty how such things prove that all things work together for good (according to the purpose of him who m[a]keth) to them who are called2.

There is nothing new here[.] My dear wife is quite well & joins me in her love to you. I am much better the dull fit is going off as I generally find it does with a little patience but I will not forget what you said[.]

Believe me to be | Your Affectionate & grateful | M. Faraday
