Whitehall Gardens | 19 March 1847
My dear Sir,
It would be more civil to Miss Coutts not to delay the election. The paper for Lady Prudhoe has been, I suppose, shewn according to the Rules and as it must be immaterial whether the election takes place in the name of Lady Prudhoe or the Duchess of Northumberland I return the paper marked No 11.
Yours very truly | Northumberland
M. Faraday Esq
