I have the honor to acknowledge very kind invitations both to the Hunterian Oration and to the Dinner on the 14th of next Month[.] I should rejoice in accepting both but of necessity may only take advantage of the former but my grateful thanks are due & are given for both the favours bestowed upon me[.]
