Sir,

Adverting to your Report of the 13th January 18471 on the Subject of a Sample of water which had been procured from the Well on Bardsey Island, I now beg to forward you a further sample of the said water, as requested by your said Report, together with an Extract from a Letter of Mr. B.H. Bailey, the Corporation's Superintendent at Milford, relative thereto.

And I am directed to signify to you the wishes of the Elder Brethren to be favour'd with a further opinion from you as to the wholesomeness of the Water in question for drinking and culinary purposes.
