Faraday to William Isaac Cookson   13 June 1848

Royal Institution | 13 June 1848

My dear Sir

The bearer is the Chevalier Palmstedt1 whom I hope you will receive from me and allow to see your works[.] I know you will do this for my sake, but when you know him I expect you will be quite as willing to do it for his own. He brings us dull accounts of Berzelius2 whom I think you know personally[.]

Ever Very Truly Yours | M. Faraday

William Cookson Esq | &c &c &c

Carl Palmstedt (1785-1870, SMOK). Swedish engineer.
Berzelius died on 7 August 1848.
