1Faraday to Charles Barry2   24 January 1849

Royal Institution | 24 Jany 1849

My dear Sir

I am very sorry to say that I have strained my power so far as to be almost unable to give. I send you one ticket3 and cannot do more[.] I have asked Mr. Barlow but he with great regret says he cannot help me. It is very possible you may fall in with some M.R.I who has not used his tickets if you do secure them & in such case if you can cancel mine do: because it will so far ease the number of mine which will appear at the examination[.]

Ever Truly Yours | M. Faraday

C. Barry Jur Esq | &c &c
