Arthur Chilver Tupper (d.1876, age 60, GRO). Brother of the popular writer Martin Farquhar Tupper (1810 - 1889, DNB). See Hudson (1949), 5.
Tupper was proposed by Brande and seconded by Faraday for membership of the Athenaeum Club. AC MS Certificate Book, 1849-50, number 1952. He was elected in 1849, Waugh [1894], 147.
