Faraday to William Henry Ince1   1 June 1849

R Institution | 1 June 1849 Dear Sir

I can give you no useful advice[.] Loss of memory has made me not only refrain from trying to gain a knowledge of what has been done recently in such matters but also forget former knowledge. You must consult your builder – I hear a good deal of the Gutta Percha pipes & in my own case I should try them but I know nothing practically[.]

Very Truly Yours | M. Faraday

W.H. Ince Esq | &c &c &c

William Henry Ince (d.1882, age 74, GRO).
