Dear Sir

I have received your note. I am so anxious not to be misunderstood that I venture further to say I trust no one can interpret my letter2 as meaning any unfitness on the part of Dr. Percy for the particular office. I want to stand perfectly free of any opinion in that respect as regards any & all the candidates3[.]

Ever Truly Yours | M. Faraday
