I have the honor to acknowledge the great favour done me by the invitation to the Centenary dinner of the Society of Antiquaries and whilst I return my sincere thanks to express my deep regret that I cannot avail myself of it: but I about to leave town for the Seaside by medical advice for the necessary support of my strength during the coming part of the Season and must be absent from London at the time2[.]
