Faraday to Heinrich Rose   23 August 1851

R Institution | 23 Aug 1851

My dear Rose

I quite grieve that I did not see you to day. I cannot call on Monday1 before 1 or 2 o’clk because I must be here to meet Magnus - as I think you perhaps may have heard. You will be so full of occupation that I have no right to think it probable you may drop in on Monday. If you do not I shall come to you[.] This is the more necessary on my part because on Tuesday & Wednesday in part I must be out of town[.]

Yours Affectionately | M. Faraday

That is 25 August 1851.
