Mr. Albert Smith presents his compliments to Mr Faraday, and with every apology for troubling him, requests the favour of an answer, in one word, to the question over leaf. The only excuse he can plead for taking this liberty is that there is the question of a ‘dinner’ depending on it, and the other party will not be satisfied with any other decision than that of Mr Faraday.
