My dear Sir

Dr. Dubois Reymond of Berlin will be engaged here next Thursday¹ the 6th from 11 o’clk onwards in shewing his fine experiments on the Muscular & Nervous Electricities at this house[.] Thinking you would like to see them if in town or at least to know of them I send this hasty note²[.]
