Je y a quelques jours j’ai eu la grande satisfaction de recevoir le diplome de membre de la Société Royale de Londres1. Ne connaissant ni la personne ni le nom du secrétaire de la Société Royale, j’ose m’adresser à Vous, Monsieur, en vous priant, de vouloir bien être l’interprète de mes sentimens de gratitude et de réconnaissance auprès de l’illustre Société pour l’honneur distingué, qu’elle m’a daignée de faire.
