Bradstones, Sandfield Park | nr Liverpool 12th Sep 1854
My dear Sir
May I take the liberty of saying that if it should be your intention to visit Liverpool on the occasion of the approaching meeting of the British Association, it will give Mrs. Lassell2 & me much pleasure to receive you as our guest during the week.
I do not know whether you are personally acquainted with Mr. Nasmyth3, but as he will be staying with us at that time I venture to think his society would not render your sojourn the less agreeable.
I remain | My dear Sir | very truly yours | Wm Lassell
To | Dr. Faraday | &c &c
