Mr Faraday present his compliments & very sincere thanks to Lady Fellows for the Cocoons & silk for which he is very grateful. Tomorrow he will take them to Hastings & there occupy himself by winding the silk off & thinking of its uses3. They promise exceedingly well for his purpose.

Harriet Fellows, olim Knight (d.1874, age 65, GRO). Married the traveller and archaeologist Charles Fellows (1799-1860, DNB) in 1848. See under his DNB entry.
