Dear Sir,

I am requested by Mr Ingram2 to enclose an invitation to the Opening of the Boston & Sleaford Railway & to say that your attendance will give him the greatest pleasure.

A Special Train leaves the Great Northern Railway King’s Cross at 9.30. and a pass shall be sent if you are kind enough to accept the invitation.

The Special Train returns in the Evening[.]
