Several years since you shewed me a number of portraits of your friends & acquaintances & asked me if I could give you a Lythograph of my own which I did not then possess; if you think the accompanying photograph would answer the same purpose I shall deem it an honour to be placed among the eminent worthies in your portfolio2 undeserving as I may be of the favour[.]
