George Gabriel Stokes to Faraday   12 February 1858

69 Albert St. Regents Park | N.W. Feb 12, 1858

My dear Faraday,

Dr. Tyndall promised me a Lady’s ticket for your lecture1 but as it has not come I suppose he has forgotten it. Could you spare me one as my wife2 would like greatly to hear your lecture? I am sorry to disturb you in your preparations[.]

Yours very truly | G.G. Stokes
