Emilie Schoenbein to Faraday   8 February 1859

Stamford Hill | Feb. 8th / 59.

Dear Mr. Faraday,

Emboldened by your great kindness, I venture to take advantage of your offer of one more ticket in my father’s name1. This subject of Ozone being one that seems particularly interesting to medical gentlemen, I make this request in behalf of one of them.

I must add that my father is quite envious for this great privilege that is in store for me of hearing your lecture.

Believe me, dear Mr. Faraday | very Truly yours | Emilie Schoenbein

Endorsed by Faraday: Died at ½ p 7 oclk A.M. on the 13th Feby 1859 - MF
