Dear Faraday,

I have in my desk the rudiments of a lecture on ‘the Relations of the Public to the science & practise of Medicine’. I know not whether I am competent to give such a Lecture; but I know that it is wanted at the present time. It is at the Service of the Royal institution, if they are disposed to give me a Friday Evg in the course of the Season3.
