Faraday to Bartholomew James Sulivan   15 March 1860

[Royal Institution embossed heading] | W | 15 March 1860

My dear Captn Sullivan

I have no preference for a tube over a rod both being copper and equal in weight per foot – a ⅝ and still better a ¾ rod would satisfy me – a tube therefore answering to the latter will also satisfy me1. I hope I have left nothing unanswered in your note2[.]

Ever Truly Yours | M. Faraday
