I sent off the Lamp & Battery last night by the Goods train & hope you will receive them safe & sound1[.]

I had your note of the 14th this morning. Please order us an apparatus like your own - from Steinheil. If it can come with yours i.e if you can make one set of communications & payments do. I shall be very much obliged & ready at any moment to send you the charges.
