My dear Sir

Can you let me know the charge for the 2nd set of experiments (after Whitby) that I may send a general account of the Experiments into the Trinity House. This of course will not include the adjustments made at the south light Whitby - or the new lamps such items going to the general account & therefore not out of the special grant for experiments[.]

Very sorry I cannot be with you on Monday1.
