Faraday to William Henry Fitton1   18 March 1861

[Royal Institution embossed letterhead] | 18 March 1861

My dear Dr. Fitton

Your accident makes me rejoice - first that it was not so serious as it might have been - next that you are recovering so well from it2 - after that that I had the happiness of being a little helpful - and lastly that you gave me a remembrance of it which is so kind and so continuous as your book will be on my shelves. I thank you very much for it and am gratefully and with all respect.

Yours Ever & truly | M. Faraday
