Dear Sir,

The Trustees, having found an efflorescence to exist on some of the Vases in the Museum, propose to meet on Monday1 at one o’clock for the Consideration of this matter, and I am to request that you would be so good as to favor the Trustees by coming to meet them here on Monday and giving them your opinion of the cause of the efflorescence and the remedy which you would recommend to be adopted.
