Faraday to Benjamin Vincent   12 June 1861

[Royal Institution embossed letterhead] | 12 June 1861.

My dear friend

I hope you & your dear companion have have [sic] as good a journey as we have for ours has been very successful. We arrived here an hour or two ago & fortunately have found comfortable quarters and fine weather and though no friends are here we are friends to each other. Both my companions desire their love to you and your companion & those you go to. As yet we can only imagine the results of what you go about but hope soon to hear that all has gone happily with you. Our address here is in full - Mrs Page1 - Charlton House - Pleydell Gardens - Sandgate Road, Folkstone. I do not know whether the whole is needful but it is safe.

Ever My dear Brother | Very affectionately Yours | M. Faraday

Mr B. Vincent.
