Faraday to James Timmins Chance   13 July 18611

Sat | 13. July

My dear Sir

I believe the authorities here are going to ask you to send a man up to take charge of your lamp in a trial of its light here. Now I want a little confidential talk with you about Trinity matters & if it were possible that you should be coming here what a happy thing it would be - If I have no other way of seeing you I think I must run down to you at Birmingham2[.]

If you come here I shall meet you at the T.H. on Tuesday3

Ever Yours | M. Faraday

Jas. Chance Esqr | &c &c
