Faraday to Henry Bence Jones   5 November 1861

[Royal Institution embossed letterhead] | Tuesday Morg | 5 Novr 1861

My dear friend

I am just going to H.C. to clear up or I would come to you at once.

Dont change anything suddenly. I think Tyndalls (first) Evening is the Friday1 before his first lecture[.] It would be a pity to make it the next day to his first lecture. I have not my dates at this moment having left them in the Managers room2[.]

I heard from Mr Barlow that he stopped you from coming up yesterday[.]

Mr Vincent shewed me the resolution of the Managers - Thank you - I should like to have that piece of paper if you intended it for - or will give it to me3[.]

I write in haste | Ever Yours | M. Faraday

Dr Bence Jones | &c &c &c

Tyndall (1862a), Friday Evening Discourse of 17 January 1862.
