My dear Sir,
The Deputy Master1 does not purpose laying your report on the Lime Light2 before the Board until the return of a Second Committee who went away yesterday to view it, but he wishes in the meantime to be furnished with any opinion you may have been enabled, from the documents I have sent you, to form as to the cost of producing the Light, comparatively with that of a four wicked Fresnel Lamp.
I am | My dear Sir | Yours very truly | P.H. Berthon
