James Timmins Chance to Faraday   26 March 1862

Handsworth | Birmingham | 26 March 1862

My dear Mr. Faraday,

This morning I received a ‘proof’ of the Specification1 from the Trin: House.

I enclose it, with such remarks as occur to me.

I had intended writing to you two days ago concerning Mr. Walker’s proposed amendments of the framework: but I have not had leisure to do so.

I presume that I am not in error in supposing that the communication on that subject is to be made to yourself, & not to the Deputy Master2.

I will postpone sending the paper until Friday3, so that you may put me right by return of post if I am making a mistake.

I truly hope that you did not catch cold last Thursday night4.

Yours very truly | James T. Chance.

See letter 4126 and note 1.
William Pigott.
That is 28 March 1862.
That is 20 March 1862 when Faraday was in Birmingham. See letter 4154.
