Faraday to Peter Henry Berthon   28 March 1862

R Institution 28 Mar 1862

Sir

I return you the proof copy of the Specification1; with my remarks, which are very few. I also send herewith a copy of the Specification which has been sent to Mr. Chance, and which, with his corrections, he has sent to me for you. The few changes which he makes in my part of the subject are either the same with my own, or what I agree to. The other criticisms concern manufacturing points; respecting which I do not consider myself a competent judge.

I am Sir | Your Very Obedient Servant | M. Faraday

P.H. Berthon Esqr
