James Timmins Chance to Faraday   28 March 1862

Handsworth, Birmingham | 28 March 1862

My dear Mr. Faraday,

If I did not misunderstand the Depy. Master1, I was to transmit to yourself any remarks wh. might occur to me concerning Mr. Walker’s suggestions upon the subject of the framework of a 1st. Order fixed Dioptric Apparatus.

I enclose, accordingly, some observations upon the matter.

I remain, yours very truly | James T. Chance.

William Pigott.
