Faraday to Henry Bence Jones   15 April 1862

[Royal Institution embossed letterhead] | 15 April 62

My dear Dr Bence Jones

I submit to you the enclosed proposition. I think it would be exceedingly inconvenient to us - hardly possible. If you are of the same mind (or if you wish for his lectures) and will let me know in one word I will write to Mr Dorsey accordingly[.] I shall be in town again tomorrow and hope to find Yes or no with Mr D’orseys letter & address1[.]

Ever Yours | M Faraday

D’Orsey had delivered a course of five lectures on the English language from 25 January to 22 February 1862, RI MS GB 3: 11. Possibly the letter referred to here offered another course which was never given.
