Faraday to Edward Frankland   4 November 18621

H Court | 4 Novr. 1862

My dear Frankland

The Expences are allowed2[.]

I have set our Carpenter to work & referred him to you in respect of any questions he may have to answer3[.]

With regard to the Laboratory furnace will you instruct Knight (?)4 to erect it as soon as he can - because of the floor.

In reference to the Ventilating apparatus for the lecture room5, if the workman can call on me at RI. on Thursday Morning6 we will look at & consider the drawing together - the sooner he gets to work the better[.]

Can you tell me the price of the Hoffman tube furnace with its necessary tubes & fittings[.] If the parties gave a note of the price to go before the Managers it would be well7[.]

Ever Truly Yours | M. Faraday
