Faraday to George Barnard   22 December 18621

R Institution | 22 Decr 62

Dear George

I am very sorry I did not see you to day. What do you say to this: Next Thursday Xmas day, Jane & I propose taking a walk to the Zoological Gardens quietly. Suppose we came round and called on you about 11 o’clk and chatted for half an hour or so in our way to the Garden[.] Shall you be at home? If not no matter for we should just walk on to the Gardens & home to a very quiet dinner.

Ever affectionately Yours | M. Faraday
