My dear Sir,

The Proceedings of the Royal Institution (which you sent to me) I signed1 and forwarded to General Knollys, & I enclose the General’s answer2. Will you communicate this to Bence Jones, our Secretary, & then where it should be. I mentioned that the Princes signature to the Register would be much appreciated & that should HRH require information on any subject, that you would probably [be] at the R. Institution, & would be at all times ready to afford it.
